We’re looking for someone who can build our technology, our team, and work alongside our founders to bring Livelii’s vision to life.

Who exactly are we looking for?

We’re specifically looking for a Technical Lead, or Head of Technology who has the ability to think critically about our business, seek solutions, and forge our path forward. You’ve got strong technical leadership skills and collaboration skills that can build, manage, lead and oversee technical decisions, manage large codebases and hold the responsibility of developer tasks and code quality. You are a do-er and have the ability and willingness to be hands-on. Your ability to translate vision from non-technical founders to your team is your leading quality and you’re able to do this through facilitating and developing technology forecasts, total cost estimates, and deliverables with internal stakeholders. In short, we’re looking for someone who is hungry to help shape the technology to support a cutting-edge start-up.

  • Work with Founders and Company Leaders to define the company's path forward in relation to technology.

  • Ability to demonstrate the design of the technical solutions in the interview process (includes architecture, security, data considerations).

  • Ability to build and manage multiple teams and projects with an increasing degree of complexity and broad scope.

  • Willingness, motivation, and ability to work independently (and autonomously) in the management of projects, teams, and operational discipline, and can develop strategic thinking and planning throughout work plan execution (short- to medium-term business perspective).

  • Readiness to manage or lead a group for project outcome (e.g., developers, analysts, specialists, DevOps).

  • Provide technical support for escalated incidents to ensure they are resolved efficiently and communicate to the internal stakeholders.

  • Analyze all preliminary research data to determine a project's influence on the Livelii.

  • Experience with software project estimation and ability to guide the team to create end-to-end estimations.

  • Ability to track technical documentation for SR&ED.

Why You?

  • You’ve got 5+ years of relevant experience managing end-to-end technical delivery of medium and large-size projects and associated project challenges.

  • Your experience using contemporary front and backend languages and frameworks has been focused on SaaS modeled business, rewards, and loyalty or marketplace applications.

  • You can independently drive decisions concerning the solution, architecture, and potential options & risks which will have a downstream impact on cost and scalability

  • You have advanced knowledge and understanding of business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications, platforms, services, and managing people and projects.)

  • You’ve got experience leading the creation and delivery of the end-to-end technical solution in big data technologies.

  • You’re ready, willing, and able to participate in Livelii’s planning discussion and define the technology delivery approach, including cross applications/teams' integration, and/or release coordination.

  • You’ve got agile delivery experience.
